What is weighing on you?
Most men have something.
One thing they know they need to deal with.
A phone call.
A decision.
A repair.
A conversation.
A pile of paperwork.
A financial issue.
A health appointment.
A project they started and never finished.
A responsibility they keep avoiding.
A loose end that keeps showing up in the back of their mind.
It may not look dramatic from the outside.
But inside, it keeps pulling at them.
They think about it while driving.
They remember it when they are trying to relax.
They feel it when they walk past the mess, ignore the email, avoid the conversation, or tell themselves they will handle it later.
And every time they put it off, it gets heavier.
That is the anchor.
Cut the Anchor Individual is a 10-day one-on-one challenge for men who are ready to stop dragging that thing behind them.
Some anchors keep a man grounded. Others keep him stuck.
This is not about abandoning responsibility.
This is not about running from your life.
This is not about pretending you can fix everything in 10 days.
This is about choosing one specific unfinished thing that has been weighing on you and deciding:
I am going to deal with this.
The goal is not to solve every problem in your life.
The goal is to identify one anchor, make a realistic plan, take decisive action, and either finish it or move it clearly forward.
Because sometimes confidence does not come from chasing something new.
Sometimes confidence comes from finally handling what you already know needs to be handled.
The hidden cost of unfinished business
Unfinished things drain a man quietly.
They take up mental space.
They create low-grade anxiety.
They make simple days feel heavier than they should.
They weaken confidence.
They make a man trust himself less.
The task itself may not even be that large.
But the avoidance gives it power.
Cut the Anchor is built around a simple idea:
A man gets stronger when he does what he has been avoiding.
Not by talking about it forever.
Not by waiting until he feels ready.
Not by pretending it does not bother him.
By facing it, planning it, and taking action.
Why work individually?
Some men benefit from the energy and accountability of a small group.
Other men know they need privacy, focus, and direct attention.
The individual version of Cut the Anchor gives you space to talk honestly about the thing you have been avoiding without having to explain it in front of a group.
This may be something personal.
It may be embarrassing.
It may be complicated.
It may be something you should have handled months or years ago.
That does not mean you need shame.
It means you need clarity, structure, and action.
One-on-one work allows us to get specific quickly. We can look at your actual situation, your schedule, your resistance, your next step, and what needs to happen in order to move this thing forward.
This is not vague motivation.
This is focused accountability.
Who this is for
Cut the Anchor Individual is for men who are ready to stop carrying the same unfinished thing in the back of their mind.
This may be for you if:
You have one specific thing you know you need to deal with.
You keep telling yourself you will handle it later.
You feel a nagging pressure that never completely goes away.
You are tired of avoiding the same task, conversation, decision, or responsibility.
You want private guidance instead of working through this in a group.
You want to rebuild confidence through action, not empty motivation.
You do not need someone to shame you.
You need structure, accountability, and a clear next step.
You are willing to be honest, choose one anchor, and take action over the next 10 days.
Who this is not for
This is not for men who want to complain but not act.
This is not for men who want someone else to fix their life for them.
This is not for men looking for hype, fake toughness, or shallow motivation.
This is not for men who want to blame everyone else while avoiding their own next step.
This is not for men in immediate crisis who need professional legal, financial, medical, or mental health support.
This is for men who are willing to look honestly at one unfinished thing and say:
It is time to deal with this.
What you will do
Cut the Anchor Individual is built around three one-on-one Zoom calls over 10 days.
Call 1 — Day 1: Anchor Session
90 minutes
This is the main clarity and planning call.
During this session, we will identify the unfinished thing that has been weighing on you, look honestly at why you have been avoiding it, and separate the real problem from the fear, confusion, or resistance around it.
Then we will choose one specific anchor to cut during the 10-day challenge.
We will define what “finished” or “moved forward” actually means, break the anchor into practical action steps, choose your first action, and set a deadline.
You will not leave this call with vague motivation.
You will leave with a clear anchor, a practical plan, and your first assignment.
Call 2 — Day 3: Action Check-In
45 minutes
This call is about your first action.
By Day 3, you should have done something.
Maybe you made the call.
Maybe you scheduled the appointment.
Maybe you started the process.
Maybe you hit resistance immediately.
Either way, we will look at what happened.
If you started moving, we will build on it.
If you stalled, we will get honest and adjust.
The goal is simple:
Do not let the anchor regain control.
Call 3 — Day 10: Completion and Next Step
45 minutes
The final call is about completion, progress, and what comes next.
We will review what you did, what changed, what still needs attention, and how to keep moving after the challenge ends.
The goal is not just to say you participated.
The goal is to know that you faced something you had been avoiding — and acted.
That matters.
The 10-day challenge
This does not mean every problem in your life will be solved.
It means the thing that has been sitting in the back of your mind will no longer be ignored.
You will either:
Finish it,
schedule it,
make the call,
start the process,
have the conversation,
clear the mess,
make the decision,
or move it forward in a real and measurable way.
The point is not perfection.
The point is movement.
What kind of anchor could you choose?
Your anchor does not have to be dramatic.
It just needs to be real.
You might choose to:
Make the phone call you keep avoiding.
Schedule the appointment you have been putting off.
Clean out the garage, office, basement, truck, or shop.
Deal with the paperwork.
Start the budget.
Have the conversation.
Fix the thing that keeps bothering you.
Finish the project you started.
Apply for the job.
Cancel the thing you should have canceled months ago.
Make the decision you keep delaying.
Take the first serious step toward resolving a financial, relational, physical, or practical issue.
The point is not to impress anyone.
The point is to stop dragging it.

Common questions
Do I need to know my anchor before we start?
No.
You may already know exactly what it is.
Or you may just know that something feels unfinished, heavy, or unresolved. Part of the first call is designed to help you identify and choose the right anchor for the 10-day challenge.
What if my anchor is too big to finish in 10 days?
That is fine.
The goal is not always to completely solve the issue in 10 days.
The goal is to define the next real step and move it forward in a measurable way.
Some anchors can be finished. Others need to be started, scheduled, clarified, or confronted.
What matters is that you stop avoiding it.
Is this therapy or counseling?
No.
This is not therapy, counseling, legal advice, financial advising, or medical care.
It is a practical, action-based challenge for men who want structure and accountability to address one unfinished thing that has been weighing on them.
Is this faith-based?
This program is values-based, not explicitly faith-based.
It is built for men who want to act with responsibility, honesty, integrity, and purpose.
Can I do this if I do not live near Sioux Falls?
Yes.
Cut the Anchor Individual is fully by Zoom, so you can participate from anywhere.
What is the difference between the small group and individual version?
The small group version gives you shared accountability with other men and two shorter individual follow-ups.
The individual version gives you private, focused attention through the entire 10-day challenge.
Both are built to help you choose one anchor, face it, and move it forward.
The individual version is best if your anchor is more personal, more complicated, or something you would rather work through privately.
Final word
A lot of men are not weak.
They are carrying too much unfinished business.
One thing left undone becomes two.
Two becomes ten.
Ten becomes a weight a man gets used to dragging.
But he still feels it.
Cut the Anchor Individual is a 10-day challenge for men who are ready to stop avoiding the thing that has been weighing them down.
Choose the one thing.
Face it.
Finish it or move it forward.
Then breathe again.
Not someday.
Now.
